Before my sons were old enough to speak, I began speaking to them, about the joy of work, the blessing and danger of marriage, and the beauty of having children.
I told them what few ever hear: that fatherhood is a joy, that many children are a gift, and that I love being their father.
It is a parent’s duty to shape the worldview of their children. If we, who love them, do not instill what is good, then those who seek only to use them will do it instead.
