The only way to live traditionally is to surround yourself with others who live traditionally, or, more precisely, responsibly.

If you see marriage as it was intended, a sacred institution for producing the next generation and continuing your family line, while your friends view it as a tax benefit or a legally bound roommate arrangement with perks, then connection will be difficult. You are not walking the same path.

And in truth, those people are not your peers. Peers are not defined by career stage or age, but by alignment of purpose. Find those who share your telos. They will challenge you rightly, support you meaningfully, and offer a standard worth measuring against.

Compare yourself only to those walking in the same direction. All others are a distortion.
